Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience.
There are two main types of cookies:
- Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser
- Persistent Cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them
2. How We Use Cookies
DPP.PRO uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Necessary Cookies: Required for authentication, security, and basic site functionality. These are always active and do not require your consent.
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Only activated with your explicit consent.
We do not use advertising, marketing, or profiling cookies.
3. Your Consent Choices
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner allows you to choose between three levels of consent:
| Choice | What it means | Analytics active? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary only | Only strictly required cookies are set. Google Analytics is blocked. Google may still produce anonymised aggregate traffic estimates using privacy-safe modelling — no cookie is set on your device for this purpose. | No (modelled only) |
| Accept analytics | Necessary cookies plus Google Analytics cookies are activated. This helps us understand traffic and improve the site. | Yes |
| Accept all | All cookie categories are accepted, including any future non-advertising third-party services we may add. | Yes |
You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will cause the cookie banner to reappear on your next visit.
4. Cookies We Use
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieConsent | Stores your cookie consent preference (necessary / analytics / all) | 1 year | Necessary |
| auth_token | Authentication and session management | Session | Necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics — session and campaign state | 2 years | Analytics |
| _gid | Google Analytics — session tracking | 24 hours | Analytics |
5. Managing Cookies
5.1 Our Cookie Banner
When you first visit DPP.PRO, a cookie banner lets you choose your preferred consent level. To reset your choice and see the banner again, clear the local storage for this site in your browser settings.
5.2 Browser Settings
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Note: Blocking all cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the site.
6. Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), operated by Google Ireland Limited, to measure site usage. GA4 is configured with Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are only set if you choose "Accept analytics" or "Accept all". When you choose "Necessary only", no GA4 cookie is placed on your device. Google may use privacy-preserving modelling to produce aggregate, anonymised traffic estimates — this does not involve any cookie or cross-site tracking.

7. Legal Basis (GDPR)
Necessary cookies are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functional and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies are processed on the basis of your freely given, specific, and informed consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
